Mericusan MBFW

For Mericusan’s show at the EGO runway, part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid 2026, I developed a project combining 3D jewelry design and visual direction. The Crystal Angel collection built around the imagery of 90s anime, magical girls and lolita aesthetics called for objects with that same tension between fragility and precision. I modelled the rings in Blender and cast them in resin, a material that preserves sharp edges, transparencies and finishes that are hard to achieve through other means and which speaks directly to the crystalline aesthetic of the collection. The show visuals were designed and synchronised with the music to amplify the dreamlike narrative on the runway weaving image, sound and scenic space into a single experience.
